First to clarify why I write this article. I have been wagering on the net or at a brick and mortar casinos for many years. I have learned, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are flat broke. Particularly if you’re on a winning run. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you’re just having fun until you start to pay attention to your losses and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you feel queasy in your belly and the more you attempt the faster you lose.
When you see that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and over and over again, trust me, this concept hardly ever functions. Say you are playing on slots, have a bankroll put aside before beginning your action. DO NOT go over that limit, regardless how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different cup. Don’t spend your successes no matter what. Once you’ve gone through your primary set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it is on the internet or at a physical betting house, do not stick around. Always remember, there will be a different day, another time.
Always remember, betting should be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, don’t even begin.
