Do Not Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a beer ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Only take only the money you expect to spend on alcohol, tips and few dollars you expect to squander and keep the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You may well have a success after a drunken night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and bet. The two just don’t go well together.

Leaving your moolah at home is a bit dramatic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is compulsory. If you play to profit, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you can afford to burn your assets without a concern, then drink all the gratis beer you are able to handle, but don’t pack charge cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your befuddled brain throws away everything!

Allow me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then go online to wager in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the coziness of my condo, but because I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.

Why? Although I do not drink alcohol a lot, once I consume alcohol, it is definitely adequate to cloud my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. When mixed, both create a decimating, and costly, drink.
