Learning From My Gambling Errors

I have been wagering online or at brick and mortar casinos for many years. I have been taught, the addiction usually will take a hold of you and you will not even realize it up till you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through uncounted hundreds of clams in just a tiny period of time and at times, I can go too long. It feels like you are only enjoying yourself up till you make a decision to track your loss and the guilt settles in, and of course you continue advising yourself "I can earn it back" ad infinitum. It does not work. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the harder you try the more rapidly you relinquish.

When you see that you are up, Remain on the UP! When you begin to relinquish, don’t convince yourself, "well just maybe one more" and again and again, believe me, this plan RARELY ever operates. Say you plan on playing on slots, have a number set aside prior to beginning your betting. DON’T exceed this range, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate pot. Do not spend your profits no matter what. After you have gambled through your initial set limit, stop. Back off, whether it is on the net or at a land based casino, don’t stick at the tables or machines. Make sure to keep in mind, there certainly is other days, other times. Obviously, this method can function for any game that you wager on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, 21 or any other game.

Keep in mind, gambling should be delightful not burdensome, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the hit, do not even begin.
